Chemical properties:

Diethylaminohydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate decomposition process releases a lot of heat and gas, so that the temperature rises, accelerate the decomposition, these gas substances can be formed in the sealed packaging enough to destroy the packaging pressure, followed by explosion and fire phenomenon.
Synthetic Method：
Add 3.5 l dichlorothane, 355 g (1.35 mol) 2-hexoxy-carbonyl benzoic acid (VII), 17.17 g (0.139 mol) 4-dimethylaminopyridinium and 333.8 g (2.02 mol) 3-diethylaminophenol (X) to a 5-l four-necked flask and immerse in a hot bath. Equipped with mechanical stirrer, thermometer, drip funnel and cooler connected to calcium chloride tube. Cool the solution to 20-25°C. Slowly add 321.6 (1.55 moles) dicyclohexyl carbodiimide. Stir the resulting mixture at 20-25°C for 4 hours. Thin-layer color k spectrometry (Cl3CH:AcOEt; 80:20) to monitor the total conversion of 2-hexoxy carbonyl benzoic acid (VII). Filtered to form dicyclohexylurea. Clean cake with 530 ml methylene chloride. Wash the dichloromethane solution with 1.79L2N sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. Concentrate the mixture under reduced pressure. Dissolve the resulting oil in n-heptane. Wash with 1.2 liters of 4NAcOH aqueous solution, 300 ml of 20% sodium carbonate aqueous solution and 600 ml of water. Stir with activated carbon to discolor the solution. Filter discolored solutions. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain diethylaminohydroxybenzoylhexyl benzoate.
