About Naglinay:
Nateglinide lowers blood sugar by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin. It does this by closing ATP-dependent potassium channels in the beta cell membrane. This depolarizes the beta cells and causes voltage-gated calcium channels to open. The resulting influx of calcium induces insulin-containing vesicles to fuse with the cell membrane and insulin secretion occurs.
Nateglinide effect:
Can be used for dietary control and/or exercise therapy in inpatients with type 2 diabetes with poor glycemic control. Can be used as sulfonylureas, metformin chloride and other type 2 diabetes inpatients with poor blood glucose control second-line drugs.
Please note:
It is forbidden for allergic patients, pregnant women, seriously infected patients, patients with severe trauma before and after operation and patients with diabetic coma and insulin-dependent diabetes.
1. For severe hepatic and renal insufficiency, dosage should be reduced or used with caution.
2. Patients with ischemic heart disease, pituitary and adrenal insufficiency, diarrhea, vomiting and malnutrition should be used with caution.
3. Use with caution in elderly patients and children.
4. Monitor blood glucose regularly and adjust dose with other hypoglycemic agents such as insulin sensitizers and α -glucosidase inhibitors.
