CAS 7558-80-7 Sodium Hypophosphite Monohydrate supplier
Sodium hypophosphite, also known as "sodium dihydrogen hypophosphite", "sodium hypophosphite", chemical formula NaH2PO2, colorless crystal or pearl luster crystal or granular powder. Soluble in water, alcohol and glycerol, insoluble in ether. Easy deliquescence. When stored in dry state, it is stable, and when heated above 200ºC, it decomposes rapidly, releasing the toxic gas which can spontaneously combust, which may cause explosion when exposed to strong heat or mixed with oxidants such as potassium chlorate. Sodium hypophosphite is an ideal reducing agent, which is mainly used in chemical plating, electroplating and organic synthesis industries. With the deepening of research and the increasing of its derivatives, its application field is expanding and it has become an important inorganic salt product.
