Salbutamol

Indications of salbutamol:

1. For the prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma or asthmatic bronchitis and other respiratory diseases with bronchospasm (wheezing). It can also be used in the maintenance treatment of chronic asthma and chronic bronchitis, relieve acute bronchospasm and prevent exercise-induced asthma.

2. Salbutamol is short acting selective β 2-receptor agonists, mild to moderate asthma, respond quickly to inhaled dosage forms. The effect of regular inhalation of aerosol is worse than that of on-demand medication, and the inhalation dosage form is not suitable for long-term and single use.

3. Modern pharmacology classifies this product as an antiasthmatic drug which mainly acts on the respiratory system.
