Lithium fluoride property
Lithium fluoride is a white powder. It is slightly soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol and other organic solvents. At room temperature, Lithium fluoride is soluble in nitric acid and sulfuric acid, but not in hydrochloric acid. It can form Li2HF acid salt with hydrofluoric acid.

Application
1. Lithium fluoride is used as additive in aluminium electrolysis and rare earth electrolysis, optical glass manufacturing, desiccant, flux, etc.
2. Battery-grade Lithium fluoride is one of the key raw materials for producing lithium hexafluorophosphate, an electrolyte commonly used in lithium-ion batteries.
