Dimethyl thio-toluene diamine chemical property:
DMTDA is a new type of polyurethane elastomer curing crosslinking agent. There are mainly two isomers, namely, the mixture of 2,4-and 2,6-dimethylthiotoluene diamine (the ratio is about 77 ~ 80 / 17 ~ 20). Compared with the commonly used Moca, DMTDA is a liquid with low viscosity at room temperature, which can be used for construction at low temperature, and has the advantages of low chemical equivalent.
Dimethyl thio-toluene diamine Applications:
1. Dimethylthiotoluene diamine is a new liquid curing agent for polyurethane elastomer. It is widely used in polyurethane casting, coating, rim, SPUA, polyurethane tire and adhesive for chain extension or cross-linking. It is also a curing agent for epoxy resin.
2. As a hardener, TDI and MTDI two liquid polyurethane elastomers should be added at the rate of 10%. In the construction and civil engineering industry, they are often used as additives in fire-retardant coating (top and side wall), metal material anti-corrosion (coating on the inner wall of iron pipe) and other aspects, and can react with other substances without any treatment. The polyurethane product obtained is superior to MOCA (friction coating) Card) hardener products.
3. It can be used for polyurethane printing squeegee, oil pipe cleaning squeegee, etc. to improve the oil resistance of polyurethane and reduce the volume expansion rate.
4. In addition, it is widely used in the textile, paper making and printing industries. It can be said that it has a broad market from aviation and aerospace industries to ordinary civil industries.
