Usage:
1. This product is the intermediate of direct dyes, acid dyes, ice dyes and disperse dyes and other dye products, and is also the main raw material of a variety of rubber antioxidants. 1-naphthol produced by 1-naphthylamine is an important intermediate of pesticide carbaryl. 1-naphthylamine can be absorbed through the skin to produce methemoglobin, which causes liquid poisoning and causes urinary system diseases. Chronic poisoning can cause bladder cancer. The maximum allowable concentration in air is 0.001mg/L.
2. Used as a reagent for TLC detection of nitro compounds. Used as a UV-derived reagent of aldehydes and ketones. Also used as an acid-base fluorescent indicator,ph 3.4(non-fluorescent) ~ 4.8(blue).
3. Dye intermediates. It is used to prepare direct dyes, acid dyes, ice dyes and disperse dyes, such AS direct fast blue B2RL, direct fast grey 3B, naphthol AS-BO, naphthol AS-KN, weak acid sauce red 5BL, weak acid deep blue GR, weak acid deep blue 5R, weak acid black BR and other dyes.
4. Used as dye intermediates and in the pharmaceutical industry.
