γ-Oryzanol, extracted from rice bran oil, is a naturally occurring mixture of ferulic acid esters of sterols and triterpene alcohols.
It is known for its strong antioxidant capacity, stability at high temperatures, and functional bioactivities including free-radical scavenging, anti-inflammatory properties, UV absorption, and lipid-modulating activity.
