2-amino-1,3-thiazole-4-carbohydrazide is a pharmacophore model developed based on crystal structure of human MPO in complex with salicylhydroxamic acid was used to screen new and selective myeloperoxidase inhibitors which inhibited chlorinating activity of human myeloperoxidase.
