It can also be used in the preparation of ethynylthiazole derivatives as allosteric modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptor 5. N,N-Dimethyl-4-azepanamine Dihydrochloride (CAT#B413170) can be used in the preparation of substituted sulfonyl triazoles and related heteroaryl compounds as as NLRP3 inhibitors. It is also used in the preparation of 4-arylsulfonyl-3-(2-amino-2-oxoethyl)-3,4-dihydro-2(1H)-pyrazinone derivatives as bradykinin B1 receptor antagonists.
