N-(4-Methyl-2-oxo-2h-chromen-7-yl)palmitamide can be useful in the preparation of acylethanolamine-hydrolyzing acid amidase inhibitors as promising tool against bladder cancer. It can also be useful in the study of N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine-specific phospholipase D expression in macrophages in response to proinflammatory stimuli.
