8β,10β-Epoxy-3,4,7β-trimethoxy-17-methylhasubanan-6β,8-diol

This alkaloid has recently been obtained from Stephania japonica. The base contains three methoxyl groups, two non-phenolic hydroxyl groups and a methylimino group. The structure has been established by spectroscopy and chemical evidence.
