3-pentanoyl-5,5-diphenylhydantoin

Valeroyl phenytoin is a derivative of phenytoin (DPH) that is synthesized by the reaction at 3 position of hydantoin ring with valeric acid. It has shown a much higher lipid solubility than that of DPH.
