DIPHTHERIA TOXIN 用途与合成方法
Diphtheria toxin CRM197 是白喉毒素的一个无毒变种，具有一个单一的突变 (52 位的甘氨酸到谷氨酸的替代)，可以消除其毒性。CRM197 作为载体蛋白广泛应用于疫苗中。
Diphtheria toxin CRM197 is an enzymatically inactive and nontoxic form of diphtheria toxin that contains a single amino acid substitution (G52E). Being naturally nontoxic, CRM197 is an ideal carrier protein for conjugate vaccines against encapsulated bacteria and is currently used to vaccinate children globally against Haemophilus influenzae, pneumococcus, and meningococcus.
