N-Benzoyl-D-arginine is a derivative of D-Arginine (A769515), an unnatural isomer of L-Arginine (A769505), used to inhibit glutamate-induced nitric oxide production in rats. N-Benzoyl-D-arginine is also used in column chromatography in inhibition studies.
