ISOINDOLIN-5-OL HCL

Isoindolin-5-ol Hydrobromide is used as a reagent in organic synthesis of several compounds including that of hydroxybenzamides which may act as Hsp (heat shock protein) 90 inhibitors. It is also used in the preparation of N-benzoylisoindoline derivatives and analogs which have shown to have analgesic properties.
