Nirtetralin is isolated from the Phyllanthus urinaria L. species and exhibits anti-HBV activity as well as hepatoprotective effects.
Biological Activity
Nirtetralin, along with nirtetralin A and B, have shown to suppress the secretion of the HBV antigens in a dose-dependent manner when assayed for anti-hepatitis B virus activities in vitro.
