Methoxyurea (Compound 3) is a potential regulator of nitric oxide (NO) donors that acts on hemoglobins such as oxy-hemoglobin (OxyHb) and met-hemoglobin (MetHb). Methoxyurea is promising for research of sickle cell disease (SCD)[1].
