Pleasant and refreshing, Lavender-Lavandin-type note. Not as sweet as Linalylacetate. More woody and mildly camphoraceous. Richer and more tenacious than Linalyl acetate.
iso-dihydro Lavandulyl Acetate is a Colorless liquid. Very slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils. Somewhat soluble in Propylene glycol.
Has apparently not been reported to occur in nature
Iso-dihydro Lavandulyl Acetatehas been suggested for use in perfume compositions and as a component in artificial Lavandin or Lavender oils.
By acetylation of isodihydrolavandulol (Arctander, 1969).
A skin irritant. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke andirritating fumes.
