2-Bromo-3-fluoro-5-nitroaniline (CAS# 1309832-49-2) is used in the preparation of pyrimidinediamine compounds as protein kinase C inhibitors for the treatment of a variety of diseases and disorders. It is also used in the preparation of small molecules that enhance functional O-mannosylation of alpha-dystroglycan (α-?DG) of which hypoglycosylation is associated with muscular dystrophies and cancer progression.
