AMXT1501 is a polyamine uptake inhibitor, also inhibiting the putrescine transport in epimastigotes (the insect stage of t. cruzi)

AMXT1501 is a novel inhibitor of the polyamine transport system. AMXT1501 blocks tumor growth in immunocompetent mice but not in athymic nude mice lacking T cells[1].
