ChEBI: An organic cation that is fluorene in which the methylene group is replaced by a positively charged iodine.
Biological Activity
Binds strongly to flavoproteins and is thus a potent inhibitor of several important enzymes, including NO synthase, NADH reductase and oxidase. Inhibits platelet aggregation.
