Boc-aminoxy-PEG4-acid

t-Boc-Aminooxy-PEG4-acid contains a Boc-protected aminooxy group and a terminal carboxylic acid. The terminal carboxylic acid (CO2H) is reactive with primary amine groups in the presence of EDC, to form a amide bond. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The Boc-protected amine can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions.

Boc-aminoxy-PEG4-acid is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
