Usage And Synthesis
Uses
A metabolite of Tamoxifen (T006000), a nonsteroidal estrogen antagonist of interest in the treatment of some forms of breast cancer. Tamoxifen is a Protein Kinase C inhibitor, and induces apoptosis in human malignant glioma cell lines.
