This Dha-K27 linked di-ubiquitin was obtained by chemical synthesis. Gly1 at the isopeptide bond has been replaced by a dehydroalanine (Dha) residue.
Dha-K27-Diubiquitin is a potent, irreversible and specific inhibitor of deubiquitylating
enzymes (DUBs) based on K27 linked diUb. This DUB activity based probe can be
used for activity profiling experiments and structural studies. Gly1 has been replaced
by a dehydroalanine residue as reactive mimic of the native isopeptidic linked Lys(Gly)
residue.
