Platinum Ruthenium black, nominally Pt 50%, Ru 50% (Atomic wt%), HiSPEC^t 6000 acts as a catalyst used for anodes and cathodes in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) and direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC). Further, it is used in biochemical research.
