cGAMP sodium salt has been used in cGAS-cGAMP Activity Assay.
c-GpAp induces the production of interferons, a usual response to triggers in the cytoplasm of mammalian cells by the presence of DNA.
ChEBI: C-GMP-AMP is a cyclic purine dinucleotide that consists of AMP and GMP units cyclised via 3',5'-linkages. It is an adenyl ribonucleotide, a cyclic purine dinucleotide and a guanyl ribonucleotide. It is a conjugate acid of a c-GMP-AMP(2-).
cGAMP induces the formation of cytokines (interferon-β, interferon-γ), activation of dendritic cells and CD8+ T cell cross priming. Through this action, it promotes innate immune response. cGAMP possesses antitumor activity and is prefered for immunotherapy in cancer treatment.
cGAMP promotes the antigen-specific cytokine production by spleen cells of immunized mice[2].
Animal Model: | Female C57BL/6 (H-2b) mice 6–8 weeks old[2] |
Dosage: | 5 μg |
Administration: | Nostril mucosal adjuvant |
Result: | Higher titers of ovalbumin (OVA)-specific IgA and total IgG as well as IgG1 and IgG2c in the sera of mice immunized with cGAMP-adjuvanted OVA as compared to sera from OVA-immunized mice. |
