(14S,20R)-4,21-Dimethyl-16-methylene-14,20-cycloveatchane-2α,5,6α,11α,12α-pentol 11,12-bis[(E)-2-methyl-2-butenoate]

A complex alkaloid obtained from Anopterus macleaynus F. Muell and subsequently from A. glandulosus Labill. The base is laevorotatory with a specific rotation of [α]_D - 12° (c 1.47, CHC13). The structure has been established by chemical and spectroscopic methods.
