Monoclonal Anti-Interleukin-8 antibody may be used for neutralization assays; ND50 is 0.08-0.4 μg/ml. The antibody may be used for immunoblotting at a working concentration of 1-2 μg/ml. For ELISA a working concentration of 0.5 μg/ml may be used. Antibody concentration of 25 μg/ml may be used for immunocytochemistry using stimulated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. For flow cytometry, 10 μL of 25 μg/ml stock antibody solution may be used for 1-5 X 105 cells.
Interleukin-8 (IL 8) is a proinflammatory chemokine th at activates multiple signaling pathways. The exosomes released from chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) cells stimulate bone marrow stromal cells to produce IL 8. It plays a very important regulatory function in tumorigenesis. Its polymorphism is associated with a significantly increased risk of cancers and may be useful for cancer susceptibility studies.
