This epimer of the preceding alkaloid also occurs in Vinca minor and yields colourless needles from EtOH. It has [α]22D - 36.4° (c 1.04, CHCL3) and the ultraviolet spectrum exhibits absorption maxima at 226 and 276 mμ.
