Copper isotope of mass 63 is considered to be mitochondrial calcium uniporter which affects bacterial activity during Staphylococcus aureus infection. This compound can also be used for imaging and/or treatment of prostate cancer in such a way where it is linked to such ligands as glutamate-urea-lysine and isonitrile.
