Diazepam-d5 (CRM) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of diazepam by GC- or LC-mass spectrometry. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine compound that positively modulates GABAA receptors to produce anxiolytic and anticonvulsant effects. It is regulated as a Schedule IV compound in the United States.
