D-(-)-3-Phosphoglyceric acid disodium salt is a glycolysis intermediate that has been used to assess the phosphorylation of glyceric acid in aqueous solution. It has also been used to characterize glutathione- and NAD-dependent arsenate reduction linked to glycolysis.
