Withanoside IV, is one of the metabolites in Withania sominfera fruits, which is a rich source of biologically active compounds. It is used for the treatment of spinal cord injury (SCI), since it improves hindlimb function by facilitating axonal growth and increase in peripheral nervous system myelin level after spinal cord injury.
