GPR55 is a G protein-coupled receptor that has been described as a cannabinoid (CB) receptor, although it also responds to other ligands, including lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI). ML-191 inhibits LPI-induced phosphorylation of ERK1/2 (IC50 = 328 nM) and blocks receptor-dependent translocation of PKCβII when used at a concentration of 30 μM.
