Centoxin is an anti-endotoxin human monoclonal antibody indicated for the treatment
of Gram-negative sepsis and septic shock.The drug was reported to resolve organ
failure within one week of treatment. The results also suggest that centoxin blocks the
release of tumor necrosis factor in septic patients. It is also under investigation for the
treatment of bum patients and meningococcal septicemia.
