  • Description Dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) is a low-molecular- weight aromatic compound used in the production of cop per corrosion inhibitors for engine oils, flame retardants and photographic development chemicals. Seven cases of industrial allergic sensitization were reported in a manufacturing plant.
