  • Uses Disodium Fumarate can be used to reduce or prevent dilution of target protein during recovery flush after filtration.
  • Preparation Disodium fumarate is obtained by neutralizing fumaric acid with sodium carbonate. Heat the water to boiling, and add fumaric acid while stirring. Add sodium carbonate in portions to pH=6.5-6.7. Stir well and filter while hot to obtain sodium fumarate solution.
