  • Uses Sodium perborate tetrahydrate is mainly used in textile mills as a bleaching agent for a variety of fabrics, namely, wool, cotton, linen, rayon, etc, and as oxidizing and fixing agent for dyes. It is also used in dentifrices, denture cleaners and pharmaceuticals due to its cleansing, deodorizing and antiseptic properties and is incorporated in soaps and detergent powders.
  • Uses Bleaching agent for domestic detergents and industrial laundries, mild antiseptic, mouthwash (under medical supervision).
  • Production Methods Sodium perborate tetrahydrate is prepared by reacting disodium tetraborate pentahydrate with hydrogen peroxide, with subsequent crystallization.
