Uncaria tomentosa extract is also known as cat’s claw. It is credited with anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, and immunostimulant properties. Among its constituents are alkaloids and tannins. The plant is a woody vine, native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America.
