cacodyl: An oily liquid,(CH₃)₂AsAs(CH₃)₂. It has a characteristicodour of garlick and is poisonous.Cacodyl was one of the first organometalliccompounds to be synthesized(by heating arsenic withpotassium acetate). The group(CH₃)₂As– is the cacodyl group.
