2-(Trifluoromethyl)benzenepropanoyl Chloride is an intermediate used in the synthesis of 3''-Destrifluoromethyl 2''-Trifluoromethyl Cinacalcet Hydrochloride (D297820), which is a related compound of Cinacalcet Hydrochloride (C441800), that is the (R) enantiomer of Cinacalet. Used in clinical trial in secondary hyperparathyroidism.
