Description
4,4,8,8,12,12-Hexa-p-tolyl-4H-8H-12H-12C-aza-dibenzo[cd,mn]pyrene (FATPA) is a fully diarymethylene-bridged triphenylamine derivative. As a TPA derivative, FATPA has an almost planar triphenylamine (TPA) backbone and good hole transport capacity. The thermal stability and morphological stability of TPA derivatives are improved. It has a high triplet energy and can serve as an efficient host material in OLEDs. Devices with FATPA as host material and Ir(ppy)3 as guest show a maximum current efficiency of 83.5 cd/A and a maximum power efficiency of 71.4 lm/W for green electrophosphorescence[1-2].
