Definition
Aromatic hydrocarbons, biphenyl-rich is a complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the hydrodealkylation and distillation of toluene. It consists predominantly of aromatic hydrocarbons having a carbon number C6 or greater, primarily biphenyl, and boiling in the range of approximately 79.degree.C to 398.degree.C (175.degree.F to 750.degree.F).
