Hydroxy-PEG1-methyl ester

Description

Hydroxy-PEG1-methyl ester is a PEG linker containing a hydroxyl group and a methyl ester. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. Methyl ester can be hydrolyzed under strong basic condition.

Uses

Hydroxy-PEG1-C2-methyl ester is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
