Biological Activity

The neurotensin receptor 1 (NTSR1) plays a regulatory role in the initiation, proliferation, apoptosis, metastasis, and differentiation of tumors through several pathways. Overexpression of NTSR1 is seen in lung cancer, malignant prostatic tumors, and malignant cell lines. NTSR1 is a risk factor th at participates in the progression of ductal breast cancer.
