Uses
Thiol dendrons can be conjugated to varius noble surfaces or coupled to unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds using various radical initiators.
Uses
Amine dendrons can be covalently attached through conjugation to carboxyl groups, primary amines, or sulfhydryl groups. Amines can also attach to oxidized carbohydrate groups (usually aldehydes) by reductive amination.
Uses
Azide dendrons can be coupled to acetylene functionalized molecules, including acetylene dendrons to form asymmetric dendrimers.
