Agricultural Uses
Pseudomom is a genus of bacteria present in the soil,
which converts amino compounds to ammonia and
ammonium compounds. Pseudomom belongs to the
family of Gram negative, aerobic, non-spore forming,
rod-shaped bacteria. Some members respire
anaerobically in the presence of nitrates while others
produce acids from carbohydrates. None of the
Pseudomonacae family is fermentative or photosynthetic.
