Description
CB 3717, a potent inhibitor of
thymidylate synthase, is toxic for cell lines with
altered dihydrofolate reductase; and homofolate, a de novo purine inhibitor requiring dihydrofolate reductase for activation, is effective
in reductase-amplified lines.
