Description
An optically inactive alkaloid, deoxypeganine occurs in Peganum harmala.
It has been characterized as the hydrochloride, m.p. 250°C; nitrate, m.p. 226°C;
perchlorate, m.p. 244-5°C and the picrate with m.p. 203-4°C.
